Roger Lu is an active investor and advisor in the  cryptocurrency space

His current areas of focus are on Gamblefi and Socialfi, but has broad experience working with teams in Defi & Gaming sectors
 

Prior to founding Hazelbrook Capital, Roger was Director of Strategy for The Stars Group (TSG). While there, Roger and his team helped transform TSG from a private, single vertical business into the largest publicly-listed Online Gaming company in the world with leading global brands like PokerStars, Sky Betting & Gaming and BetEasy Australia.   TSG was recently acquired by Flutter Entertainment plc (LSE: FLTR) for €10 billion 

 At TSG, he led Group Strategy, Long-Range Planning & Board-level projects notably M&A, and partnered with Senior Leadership to develop their business plans, forecasts & KPI metrics.  Most recently, Roger helped launch FOX Bet, a 1st-of-its-kind media & sports partnership which incubated at TSG, to capitalise on the enormous opportunity in US Sports Betting.  He led Finance, Strategy & BI functions as it scaled from start-up into a 200 person, $100m revenue business
 

Before TSG, Roger was a public and private equity investor for over 10 years

He has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BSc in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
